AMETEK Ameron Receives CAAC Approval

AMETEK Ameron, a leader in aviation safety equipment that includes repair and overhaul solutions for a wide range of aircraft applications, has received accreditation certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) for its facility in Baldwin Park, California.
For more than fifty years, Ameron has been a leading repair and overhaul facility for the aviation safety equipment industry.
“We are thrilled that Ameron has successfully satisfied the requirements to become certified by the Civil Administration of China (CAAC) for forty-five part numbers within Fire Protection: Extinguishing Systems, Oxygen: Crew Oxygen Systems, Passenger Oxygen Systems and Portable Oxygen Systems,” said Mauricio Rangel, Director of Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement for AMETEK Ameron.
This certification allows Ameron to repair and produce a CAAC certificate for categories inclusive of aircraft fire extinguishers, oxygen bottles and oxygen masks.
